Charlie Sheen Says Donald Trump Gave Him Fake Wedding Gift

All the glitter is not gold; that is what Charlie Sheen discovered after he received a wedding gift from Donald Trump.

On Friday night, Sheen was a guest on The Graham Norton Show, a nightly program that airs in the United Kingdom where he made the following surprising confession.

He received a pair of diamond cufflinks, which turned out to be crap or “dog sh8t,” according to the former Anger Management star. In his usual laid-back and ironic tone, Sheen recounted the hilarious encounter with the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party in the 2016 presidential election.

Mr. Sheen said:

“I’m really not [a fan], I’m really not, no. I am reminded of a time about five years ago…I was at a dinner with my ex-wife Brooke and her family and about half way through, I notice Donald [Trump] staring at my watch.”

Sheen went on to explain that Mr. Trump approached him and apologized for not being able to attend his wedding ceremony. Sheen said he was baffled by Trump’s comment because he never invited the real estate mogul to the gathering.

Trump being the bragger-in-chief that he is, proceeded to give Sheen a wedding present. The actor shared:

“But you know, I want to give you an early wedding gift as a gesture from me and Melania. So he says, these are platinum Harry Winston, and he pulls off his cufflinks and he gives them to me.”

Sheen said that what happened next should serve as a cautionary tale and that the American people should not trust one word uttered by Trump. The AIDS survivor went on to elaborate:

“Six months later, I had some jewelry getting appraised at the house and she finished and was leaving. So I thought, you know, there are some other couple of pieces that I have that I am very curious about, would you mind appraising these?”

He continued:

“She took the loop, spent about four seconds and then kind of recoiled from it, much like people do with Trump. So, she says, ‘in their finest moment, these are cheap pewter and bad zirconia.’”

Sheen concluded his interview by saying:

“What does this say about the man? You know? That he says, ‘here’s a great wedding gift’ and it’s just a bag of dog sh*t, you know?”

The Two and a Half Men actor went on to say that he sincerely believes that voters will make the right decision on election day by picking Hillary Clinton as the first female president of the United States. He claimed:

“I have faith that good and decent people will make the right choice and the circus will leave town before it contaminates the Oval Office.”

Sheen’s interview comes amid the surprising firing of Trump’s controversial campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, Apple pulling from the Republican convention, and the news that he is slipping in the polls.

Trump is a very toxic brand at this point; everyone has some horrible story to share about him because it is the popular and apparently funny thing to do in this election season, whereas a few years ago, no one had any Trump misadventures to reveal.
